Recipe: Super Easy Football Cakes on Turf

I love a cheat recipe -- something I can throw together quickly but looks like I put a lot of effort into it. That is exactly what this recipe is. It is so dang cute and makes a statement, but it only takes about 10 minutes to throw together.

You can use any kind of chocolate pre-made cake you like -- Swiss Rolls, Fudge Cakes, Peanut Butter Crunch Bars, Devil Cremes -- whatever makes your heart happy. Just make sure it is brown. I chose the Devil Cremes because they resembled a football shape.

And, you could even go the easier route and use pre-made frosting instead of making it. Have fun with it and get creative.
